I think this is where I have gotten really confused. I have re-seated the stick, but still no change? I've looked at the manual for the motherboard, and they are in A2 and B2. The sticks being in the wrong slots can also cause XMP/EXPO to not work properly, so I'd want to fix that first. If they are in those slots, reseat the memory, though given all the capacity is showing up yet only one memory channel is detected, I'd suspect this is your issue. In order for this to work properly, they should be in slots 2 and 4 counting from the CPU (they should be labeled A2 and B2 respectively). So the first thing I'd do is verify what memory slots you're sticks are installed in. Yes, that's mostly correct, except since each 64 bit channel is split into two 32 bit channels, it would actually be 4x32 bit being dual channel operation. With DDR5, each DIMM is two 32 bit channels, so it saying 2x32 bit is the official way of saying single channel on DDR5 (technically there is a way to disable one of the subchannels and run 1x32 bit channel, though I won't go into that as that is only useful for memory frequency validations) ![]() Seems like the XMP profile is not working correctly. ![]()
